December 15

Luke 1:26-28 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!”

The angel told Mary she was favored, and God was with her!  The same can be said for you. If you are a follower of Jesus, you have His favor always. His hand is on your life. He is always with you.

I’m sure there were seasons in Mary’s life when Mary doubted this. There must’ve been times when she really struggled with whether or not she was favored and God was truly with her. But it was true. And she had to believe it to keep moving forward.

The same is true for you and me. There will be seasons in life where we will struggle to believe we are favored and God is with us. But it is true. We will have to believe it in order to keep moving forward.

Today I want you to say out loud, “I am highly favored, and God is with me.”

Say it again out loud, and then add another sentence.

“I am highly favored, and God is with me. Circumstances cannot keep the favor of God from me. God is attracted to blessing me, and I will see the goodness of the Lord.”

Keep saying it every day. This is the truth. And the truth will set you free.
